This 2008 has marked 20 years
since our graduation. Thus our class President and his self
appointed committee have planned an eventful weekend. We are certain
that no one will miss out on this exciting anniversary celebration.
This letter is being sent to inform every one of our milestone and
future events.
Time has certainly flown by. It
seems that it was only a few years ago when we first scurried around
on the campus of Justin F. Kimball. During our first days on the
“courtyard” we were able to develop life-long relationships and
begin the transition into adulthood. Our experiences molded us and
prepared us for the lives we now enjoy. It is not very difficult to
remember dances in Sprague Field House, talent shows, fashion shows,
pep rally’s and school pizza. These mutual experiences developed a
special bond between classmates and all members of the graduating
class of 1988 family. We now have an opportunity to celebrate this
unique experience of our 20th Reunion. We have confirmed
the following event for our 20th Year Class Reunion to be
held this December.
Please
consider this letter an invitation to participate in celebrating
this event. Even with the 2008 year almost over and the holidays
upon us, we would like to issue the weekend of activities beginning
December 12, 2008 (Friday) and continuing all the way through
December 14, 2008 (Sunday). Taking the economy and holidays
into consideration, our plan has been to lessen the event cost so
that all can attend. It is our goal to ensure that we do not let
this significant anniversary pass with out celebration. We hope that
many others will join in the event.
Thank you for your efforts in
making this 20th Anniversary Class Reunion the best. We
would like to hear from every member of the Class of 1988 indicating
their plans to join us on this day. If you know of any classmates
who may have not been contacted, please email me their name,
address, email address and/or phone number so that we may forward
the information to them. We are also seeking the names of any
deceased members.
Please take the time to review
the proposed schedule of activities or the reverse side and complete
the attached updated form and mail back immediately. Please realize
an official “head count” is absolutely required between now and
December 1, 2008. Even if you are unable to attend, we would
appreciate suggestions for our next reunion, plus an updated photo
and personal information for our album.
Thank you,
Vernon
